In a global context, as a vital member of our central Export Control team, the Export Control System Manager integrates the roles of Data Analyst, LEAN facilitator, and Digitalization Advisor across all Vitesco locations worldwide. Collaborating closely with regional Export Control teams, this role is pivotal in enhancing our internal compliance framework by devising effective improvement strategies and streamlining operational workflows.
The Export Control Specialist / Classification reports directly to the Head of Export Control, assisting in the ongoing development of the Internal Compliance Program (ICP) for the Vitesco Technologies group.
Your new responsibilities:
Systems Management
Serve as a liaison between the Export Control department and various stakeholders, including the IT department, to automate export control processes and collaboratively develop effective IT solutions.Oversee the implementation and continuous updates of export control requirements within the group-wide Export Control IT framework.Assess the Export Control implications of IT architecture and processes, defining necessary compliance requirements.Create and enforce company-wide guidelines and standards for IT solutions related to Export Control processes.Manage the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of data analytics and risk assessment tools.Compliance Operations
Provide strategic advice on business decisions through comprehensive data analysis to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.Collaborate with the central Master Data Governance Team to ensure proper storage of critical information, such as screening results.Data Analytics
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a cohesive overview of Export Control-related data.Analyze extensive datasets to derive meaningful insights, aiding decision-makers in understanding associated risks.Conduct Data-Driven Risk Assessments aligned with the internal compliance program's requirements.Establish new patterns and rules for risk identification and define necessary mitigation strategies.Process Optimization
Develop an internal knowledge repository on Export Control, encouraging stakeholders to utilize it for self-education.Facilitate workshops aimed at uncovering potential improvements and enhancing processes.Formulate a strategy for the continuous enhancement of export control processes, integrating LEAN methodologies.LEAN & Digitalization
Lead LEAN initiatives to improve the efficiency of Export Control processes in collaboration with LEAN coaches and the community.Foster a LEAN mindset and competencies within the Export Control organization and among external stakeholders.Devise and implement a digital strategy, including researching market solutions and supporting automation efforts.Explore and manage digitalization and integration solutions within the Export Control organization through automation tools and systems.Your Profile:
Completed studies in business informatics, business administration, or a related field.Extensive professional experience in Export Control and Sanctions regulations, particularly in German, European, and international contexts.Proven expertise in developing export control measures and implementing them in SAP systems and Export Control IT tools.Strong background in managing and customizing rules within Export Control IT tools.Proficient in SAP and knowledgeable in data analytics.International professional experience is advantageous.Excellent problem-solving skills, basic IT understanding, and strong analytical capabilities.Fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Advanced skills in MS Office 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.Familiarity with new digital solutions and LEAN methodologies.Capable of presenting reports in leadership settings with attention to detail and accuracy.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.A collaborative team player.At Vitesco Technologies, we value a working environment that fosters diversity and inclusion.
