Job Title: Export Control System Manager

At Vitesco Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Export Control System Manager to join our central Export Control team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued optimization of our internal compliance program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective and efficient IT solutions for Export Control related topics in close collaboration with the IT department.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation and constant updating of export control requirements and provisions in the group-wide Export Control IT solution.
  • Identify Export Control relevance of IT architecture, processes, and IT solutions and define Export Control requirements to ensure Export Control compliance.
  • Develop and implement company-wide guidelines and standards with a view to IT-solutions for Export Control processes and ensure relevant stakeholders adhere to such rules.
  • Manage the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of data analytics and risk analysis tools.
Requirements:
  • Completed studies in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in Export Control and Sanctions regulations with a focus on German, European, and international export control and sanction law.
  • Several years of professional expertise in the field of concept development of export control measures and controls for subsequent implementation in SAP systems and Export Control IT tools (MIC preferred, SAP GTS or AEB also acceptable).
  • Professional expertise in managing and maintaining rules and customizing within the Export Control IT tool.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge and experience in data analytics.
  • Professional experience abroad.
  • Good problem-solving and finding solutions, basic IT-understanding, strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Business Fluent German and English language skills spoken and written.
  • Very good MS Office 365 skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
  • Very good knowledge in new digital solutions.
  • Knowledge related to LEAN methods and Digitalization.
  • Comfortable in presenting reports in leadership settings.
  • Attention to detail and completing work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • The ability to derive knowledge from information and the joy of exchanging experiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capability dealing with complex and conflicting situations.
  • Team player.
