As the Lead Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in embodying our ethos of 'Live beautiful' within our retail environments and the residences of our clientele. Your responsibilities will encompass the creation, planning, and implementation of engaging interior designs for our stores that encapsulate our brand identity and appeal to our desired demographic. Additionally, you will guide the creative vision and strategic framework of our Design Service, utilizing your expertise to develop interior concepts that cater to the unique preferences of our esteemed private and corporate clients. This position is unlimited and ideally based in Munich.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee the aesthetic presentation of our stores, bringing our vision of exceptional home and living spaces to fruition.
- Employ your innovative mindset to craft immersive window displays, exceptional interior arrangements for our room sets, and curated product presentations for retail shelves, including mood boards and 3D visualizations.
- Collaborate with clients to create tailored interior concepts for their homes or businesses, ensuring their needs are met with inventive design solutions, with the ultimate goal of providing a delightful experience that results in a design they are eager to implement.
- Establish and maintain design standards, articulating the creative vision while ensuring all concepts adhere to and surpass established guidelines.
- Mentor our talented team of interior designers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of creativity and excellence while supporting their professional development.
- Stay informed about industry trends and cutting-edge design concepts, integrating relevant insights into your work.
- Work in close collaboration with other departments to align your creative strategies with overarching business objectives.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Over 8 years of experience in Interior Design and Styling within a prestigious design firm.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your creative vision and the realization of your design concepts.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of current and emerging interior design and styling trends; exceptional visual and spatial awareness, with a meticulous eye for detail and proportion.
- Willingness to travel as the role involves visiting our stores and high-profile clients.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in German is an advantage.
