The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced IT professional to join our team as Global Head of IT. As a key member of our Global Management Team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our IT strategy, supporting our global business requirements, and ensuring the delivery of value-added IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all business-related IT projects, applications, and infrastructure
  • Manage a team of seven direct reports and coordinate with Heraeus central IT teams
  • Support the business at six international production sites, ensuring stable day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement IT solutions to drive digital transformation and innovation
  • Advise business functions on IT technology and its implementation
  • Represent business priorities within the central Heraeus IT Organization
  • Ensure professional execution of IT projects, manage teams and stakeholders, and control overall budget and priorities
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly experienced IT professional with a strong track record in leading IT teams and driving business growth. Key requirements include:

  • 10+ years of IT work experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with all business functions
  • Strong customer focus and ability to drive teams for results
  • Leadership skills to manage and develop teams, cooperate with various functions, and coordinate Heraeus Corporate IT teams
  • Relevant working experience in an international organization and IT for manufacturing industries
  • Ability to bring together a long-term strategic view with short/mid-term operational necessities
  • High energy level and excitement for driving our Conamic business forward
  • Fluent in English and German in spoken and written
