As a Payroll Specialist, either full-time or part-time, you will support us nationwide from a remote setting or at our offices. You will be an integral part of the team from day one, collaborating closely with our partners and tax advisors for clients throughout Germany. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of payroll management while simultaneously pursuing projects aimed at automation, digitalization, and process optimization in this field.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Advising and supporting clients on all matters related to payroll management and social security law
  • Executing monthly payroll calculations for our clients, particularly in the start-up sector
  • Preparing all relevant certificates and reports for authorities
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders (e.g., offices and authorities)
  • Working with clients to enhance, automate, and digitalize processes
  • Contributing to the development of internal processes
WHAT YOU BRING

We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for start-ups and diverse backgrounds. We do not expect you to possess all the skills from the outset; we will provide training for what you may not yet know. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, whether seasoned professionals or recent graduates.

  • You have completed training specializing in payroll management, a degree in business, and/or relevant practical experience in a tax consultancy or payroll department
  • You possess relevant work experience in a start-up environment or a tax consultancy and/or are familiar with working in a digitalized setting
  • You have strong knowledge of German payroll tax and social security law
  • You are proficient in relevant DATEV applications and skilled in MS Office or G-Suite applications (especially Excel/Google Sheets)
  • You have excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1) and English (minimum B1/B2)
  • You demonstrate a high affinity for numbers, attention to detail, and reliability
  • You are highly motivated, eager to develop, and wish to contribute to the growth of our organization
