Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Strategy and Roadmap Development:
    • Develop a strategic roadmap for global IT support services aligned with business goals and objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
    • Gather feedback and prioritize feature requests from stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
    • Build strong relationships with business leaders and end-users to drive service enhancements and improvements.
  • Product Planning and Prioritization:
    • Define and prioritize the product backlog for IT support services to ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive service enhancements and improvements.
  • Feature Definition and User Stories:
    • Translate support requirements into actionable user stories to ensure effective service delivery.
    • Ensure support tools meet user needs and expectations.
  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
    • Implement quality assurance processes for global IT support services to ensure high-quality service delivery.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Knowledge Management:
    • Develop training programs for end-users to enhance their knowledge and skills.
    • Maintain a knowledge base for efficient problem resolution and service delivery.
  • Vendor Management and Service Level Management:
    • Manage vendor relationships and monitor service quality to ensure alignment with business expectations.
    • Address any service issues promptly to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in global IT support services.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks like ITIL.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset and project management skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation or Certified Scrum Product Owner are a plus.
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of German is a bonus.
