Role Overview

As a (Senior) Product Designer at Wemolo, you will play a crucial role in developing user-centered designs that elevate our products. Your expertise in research and design will guide you in crafting exceptional user experiences from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Manage the design workflow from initial research to final product delivery, ensuring a unified and engaging user experience.
  • User-Centric Research: Conduct thorough user research and market analysis to inform your design choices, ensuring they align with user needs and preferences.
  • Ownership of User Experience: Take charge of the user experience for specific products or features, collaborating closely with product managers and engineering teams.
  • Strategic Input: Contribute to the strategic direction of Wemolo's product offerings through active participation in design discussions.
  • Diverse Focus Areas: Analyze the user experience for both our direct customers and the end-users utilizing our parking solutions.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work alongside product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate research insights into innovative design concepts.
  • Business Insight: Convert user insights into actionable business strategies, presenting findings to various audiences including product teams and leadership.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Communication Design, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of in-house experience as a Product Designer, with a portfolio that highlights your UX and UI design capabilities.
  • Industry Acumen: Strong understanding of the B2B or enterprise software landscape.
  • Design Systems Proficiency: Experience in developing and utilizing design systems, particularly in Figma.
  • User Research Skills: Proven track record in leading user research initiatives and applying findings to the design process.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to leverage data and research to identify challenges and inform design strategies.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with business process management and related technologies.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating and justifying design decisions.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong command of both German and English (C1 level on the CEFR scale).
