Protein Biochemist as Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our R&D Analytics group at Octapharma Biopharmaceuticals GmbH. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in the development of new protein-based drugs from early identification to late development phases.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine analysis, including biological activities, coagulation assays, ELISA, and other quantitative immunoassays.
- Develop and evaluate new analytical measurement methods under the supervision of experienced scientists.
- Prepare electronic laboratory reports and maintain electronic data management systems.
- Support the implementation of methods on automated high-throughput platforms.
- Assist with general laboratory organization, including ordering materials and equipment maintenance.
- Strong skills in protein biochemistry and analytical method development.
- Experience with basic analytical methods, such as protein quantification, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, and immunoassays.
- Understanding of underlying method principles and ability to apply knowledge for troubleshooting and assay improvement.
- Hands-on experience with automated high-throughput platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
