We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our R&D Analytics group at our site in Heidelberg. As a member of a young, highly motivated team of biologists and biotechnologists, you will support the development of new, protein-based drugs from early identification to late development phases.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine analysis, including biological activities, coagulation assays, ELISA, and other quantitative immunoassays, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and isoelectric focusing.
- Carry out and evaluate development experiments as part of the establishment of new analytical measurement methods under the supervision of experienced scientists.
- Prepare electronic laboratory reports and maintain electronic data management systems.
- Support the implementation of methods on automated high-throughput platforms.
- Assist with general laboratory organization, including ordering materials and equipment maintenance.
- Open-minded and proactive personality with a strong team spirit and broad-minded cooperation.
- High degree of flexibility and ability to multitask.
- Experience in analytical method development in the field of advanced analysis of protein-based biomolecules.
- Hands-on experience with basic analytical methods such as protein quantification, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, and immunoassays.
- Understanding of underlying method principles and ability to apply that knowledge for troubleshooting and assay improvement.
