As a key member of the Ingersoll Rand team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the success of our company.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning loading equipment at national and international customers.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission loading equipment at customer sites
  • Perform service and repair work on loading systems
  • Maintain loading systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Train customers on the operation and maintenance of loading equipment
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with loading systems
  • Collaborate with customers to develop solutions to technical problems
  • Document all activities performed
  • Participate in projects to improve operational processes and technical service
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Travel to customer sites in Germany and worldwide

Requirements

  • Education in mechatronics, electrics, or mechanics, with further education as a technician or master craftsman
  • Experience in mechanical or plant engineering
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical engineering, with control technology an advantage
  • High sense of responsibility, flexibility, and independent work ethic
  • Good knowledge of English, with spoken and written English, and another foreign language an advantage
  • Good PC skills, with secure handling of the MS Office package
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Driving license class B
