Sales Engineer for Industrial Compressors

Sales Engineer (m/f/d) in the Field of Industrial Compressors
About the Company:

Position Overview:
- Manage proposals for new compressor installations in global projects.
- Perform aerodynamic design tailored to client specifications and compile the required proposal documentation.
- Finalize the core compressor by sourcing essential components from subcontractors for a customized project package.
- Generate client proposals utilizing a product configuration system, while considering project quality, budget, and timelines.
- Enthusiastically represent and advocate for our product offerings.
- Provide consultancy and conduct site visits for clients both domestically and internationally throughout project phases.
- Negotiate contracts independently in accordance with commercial standards.
- Prepare contractual agreements and transition them to project management and engineering teams upon order confirmation.
- Identify and develop leads and projects for the designated market in collaboration with regional divisions.
- Contribute to budget and forecasting activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Process Engineering.
- Preferred experience in machinery or plant construction along with industry knowledge.
- Several years of experience in sales and customer engagement is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with basic knowledge of SAP/R3 and CRM systems.
- Intercultural experience is a plus.
- Fluency in German and English; additional language skills are a benefit.
- Strong communication skills, goal-oriented mindset, teamwork capabilities, customer-centric approach, and cost-awareness.
