Position: Sales Engineer - Industrial Compressor Solutions

Location: Frankenthal/Palatinate

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Engineer to enhance our team in the industrial compressor solutions sector at our Frankenthal/Palatinate office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and evaluate new construction proposals for compressors in global projects.
  • Craft aerodynamic solutions and compile the necessary proposal package tailored to client specifications.
  • Finalize the core compressor by coordinating with subcontractors to integrate essential accessories, creating a detailed project-specific package.
  • Generate customer proposals utilizing a product configuration system, ensuring adherence to project requirements regarding quality, cost, and timelines.
  • Actively represent and advocate for our product offerings with commitment and professionalism.
  • Consult and engage with both domestic and international clients as part of project initiatives.
  • Conduct independent contract negotiations, including commercial terms.
  • Prepare contracts and transition them to project management and engineering upon order confirmation.
  • Identify leads and projects for the designated market in collaboration with regional units and local representatives.
  • Contribute to budget and forecasting activities.

Qualifications:

  • A degree from a university or technical college in mechanical engineering, energy technology, or process engineering.
  • Initial experience in mechanical or plant engineering and industry knowledge is advantageous.
  • Several years of professional experience in sales and customer engagement is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel is essential.
  • Proficient in standard Office applications and basic knowledge of SAP/R3.
  • Intercultural experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in an additional foreign language is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, goal-oriented mindset, teamwork capability, customer focus, and cost awareness.
