Position: Sales Engineer - Industrial Compressor Solutions
Location: Frankenthal/Palatinate
Overview:
ITP (International Talent Partnership) is looking for a dedicated Sales Engineer to enhance our industrial compressor solutions team based in Frankenthal/Palatinate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage new construction proposals for compressors in global projects.
- Craft aerodynamic solutions and compile the necessary proposal package tailored to client specifications.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to finalize the core compressor, ensuring all essential accessories are included for a complete project-specific package.
- Utilize a product configuration system to develop customer proposals, ensuring compliance with project quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
- Actively represent and promote our diverse product range with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Engage with both domestic and international clients as part of project initiatives.
- Conduct independent contract negotiations, focusing on commercial terms.
- Prepare contracts and facilitate their transition to project management and engineering teams upon order confirmation.
- Generate leads and projects within the designated market in collaboration with regional units and local representatives.
- Contribute to budget and forecasting activities.
Qualifications:
- A completed degree in mechanical engineering, energy technology, or process engineering from a recognized university or technical college.
- Prior experience in mechanical or plant engineering and industry knowledge is advantageous.
- Several years of experience in sales and customer engagement is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Proficient in standard Office applications and basic SAP/R3 knowledge.
- Intercultural experience is a plus.
- Fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in an additional foreign language is desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, goal-oriented mindset, teamwork capabilities, customer focus, and cost awareness.
