In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Commercial Sales efforts by providing actionable insights, supporting sales objectives, optimizing processes, and contributing to the overall success of the team.
The Day to Day:
- Partner with the sales team to support the Core & Base tiers, which constitute the largest portion of total Enterprise bookings, managing the entire book of business for all sales operations activities, including:
- Managing and maintaining global forecast files, ensuring timely and accurate data updates on a weekly basis in preparation for the weekly forecast call.
- Assisting in the generation and submission of the monthly committed forecast to finance and leadership, providing critical insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assisting in the development of the sales forecasts using historical data, pipeline, run-rate, and market trends.
- Providing real-time analytics to business leaders, which result in driving leaders to action, including bookings results, gaps to forecast, and weekly pipeline analysis.
- Tracking progress against established KPIs, while identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Efficiently handling ad-hoc data requests from sales partners, while concurrently exploring opportunities for automation and scalability in addressing future requests.
- Creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing and implementing solutions for enhanced productivity.
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the sales systems and CRM (Salesforce).
- Collaborating with finance, marketing, business intelligence, and other departments to gather relevant data in support of the sales organization.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years related work experience in sales operations, sales strategy, analytics, or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and ability to turn data into insights & actions.
- Detailed-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tech stacks (preferably Salesforce, Tableau/Looker, SalesLoft).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (proficient in Excel/Sheets & PowerPoint/Slides).
