About the Role

MTU Aero Engines is seeking a skilled IT Application Support Specialist to join their Hybrid location in Munich. As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, customizing, maintaining, designing, and evolving IT applications for product documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support IT applications for product documentation, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other IT departments to ensure application availability and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation within the IT landscape, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist internal departments in developing new features and system adjustments, driving business growth and efficiency.
  • Consult, design, and coordinate projects for changing existing or implementing new IT systems, leveraging industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with external service providers and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide training and problem-solving support to ensure seamless processes and user satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics or a related field, or relevant IT certification with experience.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in application software operation and support.
  • Understanding of complex IT infrastructure and interconnected systems.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience in IT project management.
  • Initiative, flexibility, and interest in modern IT processes, with the ability to quickly learn new tasks.
  • Fluency in German and good English skills.
