Job Summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is a leading manufacturer of custom oligonucleotides and proprietary technologies for genomics applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our EMEA sales team located in Germany. This is a remote position that requires a strong understanding of the life sciences industry and excellent communication skills.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth. You will research and understand territory growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy. You will also build in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth
  • Research and understand territory growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy
  • Build in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions
  • Maintain regular and informative communications with all other team members, including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, etc.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a Life Science field or Bachelor's degree with relevant Life Sciences sales experience required
  • Residing in the assigned region and extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the region is required
  • Basic genomics knowledge is required; Applications experience within NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc. and working knowledge of accounts in assigned territory preferred
  • Fluently German and English language skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

  • Up to 50% of the working time
  • The candidate must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Outstanding prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation and closing skills
