Channel Development Category Specialist for Convenience Retail

Key Responsibilities- Strategic planning and enhancement of relevant food categories
- Data-driven development of optimal assortments in close collaboration with all pertinent product areas
- Market trend analysis and sales data evaluation to identify growth opportunities and product listing proposals
- Strategic planning and execution of regular digital promotions, including selection of promotional items
- Monitoring and analysis of KPIs to measure the success of strategies and initiatives
- Support in the enhancement of the online shop and app to optimize the omnichannel shopping experience
- Close collaboration with internal teams such as purchasing/category management, data analytics, sales, supply chain, pricing, marketing, and digital
- Successfully completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification in the retail sector
- Initial relevant professional experience in category or project management, ideally within or for the retail sector
- Strong affinity for food, combined with solid knowledge of assortments and products
- High digital affinity and initial experience with digital marketing approaches
- Excellent MS Office skills and good command of English
- Proactive, hands-on mentality with a solution-oriented work style
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic capabilities
- Communicative personality capable of developing and implementing innovative solutions, confidently engaging with both operational and top management levels
