Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at REWE Group as a Procurement Specialist. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting the central buyer of our own brands, preparing and conducting national and international tenders, evaluating market trends and competition, analyzing market data, scouting for product innovations, negotiating new product developments, ensuring contract data maintenance, and ensuring product availability.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in business and at least 3 years of experience in the retail industry, strong knowledge of your product category, proficiency in MS Office and data warehouse systems, good English language skills, and excellent communication and assertiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the central buyer of our own brands
  • Prepare and conduct national and international tenders
  • Evaluate market trends and competition
  • Analyze market data
  • Scout for product innovations
  • Negotiate new product developments
  • Ensure contract data maintenance
  • Ensure product availability

Requirements:

  • Degree in business
  • At least 3 years of experience in the retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of your product category
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data warehouse systems
  • Good English language skills
  • Excellent communication and assertiveness
