Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Parallel Consulting. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing network security infrastructures across multiple locations and automating the Cisco-based network landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Automation: Design and implement automation solutions using Cisco ACI to streamline network operations and improve efficiency.
- Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement complex LAN, WAN, and Firewall environments across multiple sites, ensuring seamless connectivity and high-performance network infrastructure.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with external service providers for migration projects, data center moves, and daily operations, ensuring smooth execution and minimal downtime.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience with data centers and complex network infrastructures, with a strong understanding of network security and automation.
- Operational Lifecycle: Comprehensive experience throughout the operational lifecycle, including design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Scripting Tools: Knowledge of scripting tools such as Python is advantageous, but not required.
- Firewalls: Experience with Firewalls, preferably Palo Alto and/or Fortinet, is highly desirable.
- Language Skills: Good command of German (at least B1) and English (at least B2) is required.
