IT Support Specialist
Key Competencies Required:
- Proficient in diagnosing issues with computer operating systems and peripheral devices
- Familiarity with various PC operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, and 10
- Experience in hardware and software installation, with knowledge of deployment tools such as SCCM
- Understanding of Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and group policies
- Printer troubleshooting and support capabilities
- Solid understanding of installation and troubleshooting for Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with a diverse range of technologies and services
- Advanced technical skills, particularly in troubleshooting Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems
- Ability to effectively manage time and resources in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism

Basic Familiarity with:
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Apple operating systems
- SCCM
IT Qualifications:
- Possession of at least one of the following certifications: PC/laptop OEM maintenance certification, CompTIA A+ certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in desktop support, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Open to beginner students and IT students with a relevant background
- Willingness to travel as necessary
