Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at PUMA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring excellent customer service in our retail stores.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Performance: Work closely with your team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of approximately 15 colleagues, ensuring effective rostering and scheduling.
- Customer Interaction: Spend 90% of your time interacting with customers in the store, providing exceptional service and exceeding their expectations. Encourage your team to do the same.
- Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in hiring new staff, providing training and coaching to the team.
- Inventory Management: Ensure smooth communication between the store and our warehouse.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data and results with your team.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store's visual presentation aligns with PUMA's standards.
- Store Opening and Closing: Be responsible for opening and closing the store.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in the sport or apparel industry.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset and be able to adapt to various sales situations.
- Availability: Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to colleagues and organize team meetings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including creating rosters with formulas in Excel.
