**About the Role**

Brenntag, a leading chemical distribution company, is seeking a highly skilled Document Management Specialist EMEA to join our team in Essen. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of documents related to life science products.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Process and classify controlled documents, including specifications, certificates, and product-related statements.
  • Verify document metadata, attributes, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Administer the SAP Data Management System, including approval and process updates.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a secure and orderly system of responsibilities and standards.

**Requirements**

  • Experience in a similar role within the chemical or similar industries (e.g., food, animal nutrition, pharma).
  • Science education (chemical or biological, pharmacy, food technology, etc.) is required.
  • Knowledge of chemical or similar industries and document requirements is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP and Master Data Governance processes.
  • Experience with master data processes is a plus.
  • Proven ability to solve problems, improve documentation quality, and support business process efficiency.
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written) are essential, with other language abilities a plus.
