About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team at Remote. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building, shipping, and maintaining complex software projects using Elixir and Postgres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong background in Elixir and Postgres
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and self-guided
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop new skills
