Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant in Cyber Strategy & Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the security posture of our diverse clientele. Your typical responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, implementing, and sustaining comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
  • Designing and executing strategic security initiatives to mitigate identified risks and meet compliance obligations.
  • Conducting in-depth evaluations of existing security measures, providing recommendations and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Establishing and maintaining cybersecurity maturity models to assess and track the organization's security progress.
  • Managing third-party risks through rigorous vendor assessment programs and ongoing monitoring activities.
  • Developing and maintaining security metrics and reporting systems to evaluate the effectiveness of the security program.
  • Leading information security risk management efforts, identifying potential threats, and formulating tactical responses.
  • Defining operational models for security operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across all business units, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2.
  • Enhancing security awareness within the organization through the creation and delivery of training programs.
  • Designing and refining security processes to improve operational efficiency and response times.
  • Driving the organization's cybersecurity governance initiatives, establishing policies and protocols.
  • Utilizing strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Applying active listening to understand concerns from business units and translating them into actionable security strategies.
  • Demonstrating empathy in addressing user security concerns, ensuring a user-focused approach to cybersecurity.
  • Engaging in complex problem-solving to provide strategic solutions to intricate cybersecurity challenges.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity strategy and management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in managing comprehensive security programs.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and verbal.
  • Eligibility for NATO clearance is required.
