Financial Accountant (m/f/d) - Join Our Finance Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant (m/f/d) to strengthen our Finance team at Paul Wurth / Paul Wurth Geprolux. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out ongoing financial accounting under Lux GAAP / IFRS regulations, monitoring and implementing national and international payment transactions, and assisting with the preparation of tax and VAT returns.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out financial accounting tasks under Lux GAAP / IFRS regulations
  • Monitor and implement national and international payment transactions
  • Assist with the preparation of tax and VAT returns
  • Post all incoming business transactions of accounts receivable, accounts payable, finance, travel, and asset accounting, and account reconciliation
  • Liaise with third parties such as tax authorities, auditors, banks, etc.
  • Reconcile general accounts
  • Support with budget, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and the associated reporting
What We Expect:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or comparable degree
  • VAT experience is considered an advantage
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and high level of responsibility
  • Good communication skills
  • Structured and conscientious way of working
  • SAP / Excel experience is considered an advantage
  • Fluent in English and German; Luxemburgish and/or French are considered an advantage
