Head of Social Media Strategy

Job Description

As the Head of Social Media and eCommerce, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our social media and eCommerce strategies. This includes creating a customer-driven and OKR-based approach to establish our online platforms as the central hub for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media and eCommerce strategy to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Lead a team of 3-5 employees and 2 work students to ensure the smooth operation of our social media and eCommerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Communication, Events & Congresses, Education Academy, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Manage the budget for social media and eCommerce initiatives, including annual budget planning and monthly tracking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key online opinion leaders and influencers to support our social media strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our social media and eCommerce strategies remain competitive and effective.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media and eCommerce.
  • Experience in the MedTech industry is an asset.
  • First-hand experience in leadership or management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and German (verbal and written communication).
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and conceptual skills.
  • Sales and marketing-oriented mindset.
  • High customer, success, and solution-oriented work attitude.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
