IT Operations Manager

FDH Aero is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our IT operations and infrastructure in the EMEA region. As a Manager, IT Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of all IT systems, implementing technological solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity, and managing a team of IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise the IT team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement technological solutions and upgrades to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing IT-related issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to understand business requirements and align IT initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to the organization's IT strategy.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and support.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and mitigate risks to the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of successfully managing IT operations and infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, with expertise in implementing and maintaining complex IT environments.
- Proficiency in IT project management methodologies, with experience in leading and executing IT projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to addressing IT-related issues and challenges.
