IT Operations Manager

We are currently seeking a qualified and seasoned Manager, IT Operations to lead our IT operations and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be tasked with overseeing our IT department, ensuring the seamless operation of all IT systems, and deploying technological solutions that boost efficiency and productivity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish new user accounts and maintain the customer database, including updates to names, addresses, and payment terms.
- Monitor customer account activities for any payment issues, delays, or discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve any payment-related discrepancies.
- Lead and manage the IT team, providing direction, support, and mentorship to optimize performance.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems and networks, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and scalable.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Assess, recommend, and implement technological upgrades to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, ensuring prompt resolution of IT issues.
- Collaborate with various departments to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends, assessing their relevance to our IT strategy.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality IT service delivery.
- Formulate and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular audits of IT systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in IT management, demonstrating a successful track record in overseeing IT operations.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a knack for motivating and guiding team members.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, with hands-on experience in managing complex environments.
- Proficient in IT project management methodologies, with a history of successfully executing IT projects.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant certifications in IT management (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
