Senior Financial Analyst

At BMW Group, we are committed to redefining our sales and accounting operations. Our team plays a pivotal role in establishing the future framework for financial processing within the new vehicle sector. We work closely with all European sales subsidiaries to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with invoicing, sales partners, and local accounting teams to design effective accounting workflows.
  • Oversee the operational management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory accounting, and payment processing.
  • Lead testing initiatives for the rollout of new processes in partnership with IT stakeholders.
  • Utilize SAP R/3, focusing on the FI-AR, -AP, and -GL modules, while managing data migration from SAP-SD or -MM.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in transactional accounting, accounts receivable, general ledger, or group financial reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
  • Experience in SAP projects, particularly in international implementations.
  • Familiarity with working alongside service providers is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP FI, especially in AR and GL modules; knowledge of SD and MM modules is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both German and English; additional language skills are beneficial.
