ROLE SUMMARY:
The Automation Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of automation products, overseeing budget management and fostering relationships through technical expertise and a strong sense of ownership. This position collaborates with a diverse product team to enhance, define, and execute automation solutions across various terminals worldwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement the deployment strategy to support the product's value proposition, ensuring alignment with terminal and customer needs.
- Adopt a systematic approach to product deployment across multiple terminals, maintaining product integrity and securing necessary approvals.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and relevant regulations throughout the deployment process.
- Enhance consistency in product deployments across different terminals, striving for continuous improvement.
- Address site-specific requirements in collaboration with terminal teams, adhering to the established product blueprint.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge and professional experience in automation technologies.
- Experience in port automation or modernization is advantageous.
- Technical or engineering background is preferred.
- Strong interest in autonomous transport solutions and related technologies.
- Solid understanding of industrial production processes.
- Proven track record of delivering results in project or product deployment settings.
- Effective resource management and planning capabilities.
- Strong prioritization skills and a proactive mindset.
- Methodological expertise in leading iterative design, development, and testing cycles throughout the deployment process.
