Role OverviewWe are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Inventory Technician to become part of our vibrant team in Munich. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics and warehousing operations, maintaining the quality and efficiency of our supply chain processes. The Inventory Technician will be instrumental in overseeing our inventory, streamlining internal logistics, and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our warehouse operations.
Your Responsibilities- Conduct initial quality assessments on incoming goods and manage the receipt and issuance of items.
- Oversee stock management and guarantee precise inventory levels.
- Perform regular evaluations of material availability and manage the ordering process, particularly for C-parts.
- Act as a packaging expert, ensuring items are securely packed for safety, efficiency, and shipping.
- Maintain and manage accurate records within our ERP system.
- Designate and optimize warehouse spaces for various components.
- Take ownership of and enhance internal logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse and shipping safety standards.
- Recommend and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and safety.
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics and warehousing.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and quality management principles.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with a hands-on mentality.
- Good comprehension of technical products and processes.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
- Experience as a loading specialist for machinery is highly desirable.
