We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flow Cytometry Specialist to join our team at the Institute for Experimental Pathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and advancing our state-of-the-art cytometry platform, collaborating with scientists from within the Medical Faculty, and providing technical support in experimental design, analysis, and sorting.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the flow cytometry platform
- Develop and optimize antibody panels and experimental setups for flow cytometry
- Provide technical assistance and training to researchers in experiment design, data acquisition, and analysis
- Collaborate with scientists to support their research needs, both within the lab and from external groups
- Ensure effective troubleshooting and maintenance of instruments, coordinating with technical support as necessary
- Stay updated with advancements in flow cytometry techniques and technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities
- University degree with doctorate in cell biology, biomedicine, or life sciences, with postdoctoral experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in sorting and spectral flow cytometry
- Good understanding of antibody panel development and data analysis
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary research environment
