Administrative Coordinator for Childcare Services

Position Overview:

As an Administrative Coordinator for Childcare Services, you will play a vital role in guiding and assisting parents in navigating the application process for childcare services, including daycare centers and additional support in educational settings. Your expertise will also extend to advising on financial contributions and contract discussions. Parents will rely on your knowledge for insights into educational and participation benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to parents in understanding and applying for childcare options.
  • Offer guidance on financial matters related to childcare, including cost-sharing and contract negotiations.
  • Advise on educational benefits and participation opportunities available to families.

Qualifications:

For Tariff Employees:

  • Relevant qualifications in an administrative field, ideally as an administrative assistant or office communication specialist.
  • Participation in VL I or an equivalent qualification that meets at least DQR Level 4 standards.

For Civil Servants:

  • Must meet the legal requirements for the second entry-level position in the General Administrative Service career group.

Technical Skills:

  • Essential: In-depth knowledge of legal regulations pertaining to childcare, including the Child Day Care Act and related laws.
  • Highly Desirable: Strong understanding of administrative law, social law, and budget law.

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Essential: Ability to learn, adapt, and demonstrate service orientation.
  • Highly Desirable: Strong organizational skills, resilience, and effective communication abilities.
