About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team in the North Sea. As a key member of our offshore wind farm maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance procedures on our wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including electrical and mechanical system checks and repairs
- Identify and troubleshoot faults on electrical and mechanical systems, using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to junior technicians, evaluating their competence and quality
- Lead small teams of technicians, ensuring safety, competency, and productivity
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, reporting technical and safety issues to relevant stakeholders
- Adhere to company safety procedures and protocols
Requirements
- Successful completion of electrical education or training, as per German regulations
- Several years of experience in the wind industry, preferably offshore
- Offshore readiness certification, according to GWO standards
- Advanced understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including turbine components and systems
- Proactive and independent working style
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility in regards to shift work and site location
- Advanced understanding of IT systems and tools
- Proficiency in Business English
