About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our EU Credit Business Operations team at Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch). As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing both 'run-the-business' tasks and existing programs, projects, and delivering strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate relationships with third-party partners and internal customers to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
  • Drive projects to improve customer pain points within the larger Payments organization and with businesses/services across Amazon.
  • Identify operational gaps and propose operational requirements for new projects to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Resolve customer-impacting issues and partner with internal teams to support new payment products or functionality post-launch.
  • Develop metrics for assessing performance and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct deep dives in all areas of product responsibilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate significant annual efficiency improvements through process standardization, automation, and elimination of repetitive tasks.
About the Team

The EU Credit Business Operations team is responsible for multiple functions involving internal stakeholders (i.e., Product, Marketing, Legal, Engineering, Customer Service) and external financial partners. We focus on reducing friction on the customer journey and improving the credit customer experience, working backwards from customers.

We ensure scalability of the business and higher customer satisfaction through continuous improvement, standardization of processes, automation, and elimination of repetitive tasks.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in program or project management, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Fluent level of English and German language (C1).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.
  • Experience leading process improvements and implementing repeatable processes.
  • Experience in complex problem-solving and working in a tight schedule environment.
