We are seeking a highly skilled AI Manager to join our team at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Intelligente Analyse- und Informationssysteme IAIS. As an AI Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and facilitating the active transfer of technology and knowledge with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and support to SMEs on AI-related matters, including AI Design Sprints, AI Shadowings, and KI-Sprechstunden.
- Respond to technology and market-related questions from network stakeholders.
- Actively engage and network with companies, research institutions, and technology providers at the regional, national, and EU levels, both through individual meetings and by organizing events and workshops.
- Develop market and technology assessments, reports, and strategy documents for relevant stakeholders.
- Represent the Competence Center externally at trade fairs and conferences and deliver presentations and talks.
- Master's degree or higher in a business, natural science, or engineering field.
- Excellent academic performance and analytical skills.
- Professional experience in advising SMEs and a deep understanding of their needs and processes in the context of digitalization and AI.
- Familiarity with innovation management and practical experience in implementing AI projects or technology transfer is an asset.
- Interest in AI technologies, AI regulation, and funding instruments for technology transfer, as well as a willingness to actively continue learning in this area.
- Self-motivation and result-oriented, independent working style.
- Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for networking.
- Basic willingness to travel, primarily in NRW.
- Fluent German and English skills in speech and writing.
- You will work in an interdisciplinary team with a dynamic working style and flat hierarchies. The many areas of design can be used for personal development.
- You will deepen your knowledge of AI independently and bring in creative ideas and methods, which you will implement responsibly.
- You can expand your network of contacts from business, research, and politics.
