About the Department

The Bulk Payments Tribe is responsible for delivering technological solutions for mass payment transactions within the bank. This includes services such as SEPA payments, which account for over 90% of the total payment volume at Deutsche Bank. The Tribe is characterized by close collaboration between IT and corporate banking colleagues. Our mission involves the integration, enhancement, and application development of payment systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will serve as an experienced Business Functional Analyst, effectively communicating and engaging with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Your role will involve analyzing complex requirements and translating them into technical solutions that integrate multiple IT systems.
  • A significant part of your responsibilities will include crafting exceptional user stories that can be directly incorporated into the teams' sprint planning.
  • You will focus on both functional and technical design, as well as documenting end-to-end target processes in collaboration with the development team.
  • Collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and developers in an Agile environment will be essential.
  • You will actively participate in knowledge sharing and adhere to best practices.
  • Ensuring that solutions meet requirements by supporting user testing, including reviewing test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Several years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector or a related field.
  • In-depth expertise and knowledge in payment processing, including SEPA and SWIFT payments, as well as the relevant formats such as ISO20022 and SWIFT MTs.
  • Adaptability and experience in managing changing requirements.
  • Excellent teamwork skills within a diverse team environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of processes from customer interaction to technical systems, with the ability to simplify complex relationships.
  • Strong motivation for independent work in virtual teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both IT and business contexts, fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
