Role Expectations
Contentful is seeking a proficient Mulesoft Developer to become a part of our integration platform team. Your primary duty will be to create new integrations utilizing Mulesoft while providing continuous support for these solutions. You will work closely with our Mulesoft Architect and the wider Business Systems and Information Services team to design, implement, and evaluate Mulesoft solutions.
Essential Qualifications for Success
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in MuleSoft development
- Extensive experience in designing and constructing RAML-based APIs using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform
- Proven knowledge of design patterns and unit testing methodologies
- Experience in handling various data formats across multiple external applications using MuleSoft Dataweave
- Basic understanding and practical experience with Mulesoft services, including Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio
- Familiarity with data formats such as XML and JSON
- Experience with integration technologies like SOAP and REST
- Understanding of automated deployment processes (CI/CD) and version control systems (Git)
- Ability to support, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Mulesoft applications
- Strong collaborative skills and openness to diverse perspectives
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, and Workday
- Experience in building Custom Connectors using Mule SDK
- Mulesoft Developer certification is a plus
