Crew Management Systems Coordinator

In the role of Service Owner for the Crew Management Systems (CMS) application suite, the Coordinator is tasked with ensuring the seamless operation, enhancement, and progressive development of the systems within the allocated budget, established timelines, and anticipated quality standards.

  • Overseeing the operation, enhancement, and ongoing development of IT solutions utilized throughout the entire crew scheduling process (Pairing / Rostering / Tracking)
  • Formulating a vision or target architecture for the CityLine CMS application ecosystem, along with strategizing the implementation, which includes drafting target concepts, intermediate phases, and migration plans
  • Advising business units on the feasibility of fulfilling requirements and crafting the corresponding technical documentation, as well as initiating and supervising the implementation
  • Autonomously managing both internal and external service providers, user assistance, troubleshooting, and error resolution
  • Facilitating, supporting, and executing audits
  • Evaluating processes and workflows to extract business unit requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Applicants should possess a degree in business administration, business informatics, natural sciences, engineering, or equivalent qualifications, or have a minimum of 6 years of pertinent professional experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Proficient negotiation skills in German, at least at a B2 level
  • Familiarity with the applications to be supported is advantageous
  • Understanding of crew scheduling processes, applications, and requirements within the planning units environment
  • Experience in supplier management, oversight of external service providers, and negotiation of IT contracts and service level agreements (SLAs)
