As a key player in our organization, you will drive advancements in the automotive sector, concentrating on product categories related to chassis systems while establishing and expanding profitable market positions globally. Your role will involve a deep understanding of the factors that influence market dynamics within the business line, enabling you to maximize business performance in alignment with the company's strategic goals.

In this pivotal position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the application strategy for chassis applications (including braking, steering, and suspension) within Infineon's automotive microcontroller business.
  • Gathering requirements to define next-generation products, leveraging insights from market trends and customer feedback.
  • Identifying global business opportunities and managing the pricing strategy to cultivate a sustainable and profitable market presence.
  • Formulating, executing, and refining our marketing and product strategy through close collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the product portfolio and support successful business cases.
  • Leading go-to-market initiatives and overseeing the product life cycle.
  • Conducting proactive market research by analyzing competitors, assessing product competitiveness, identifying new market potentials, determining solution and product strategies, and orchestrating market launches.

You will act as an entrepreneur, focusing on results while being cost-conscious, recognizing opportunities, and possessing a keen sense for profitable business ideas. Your commitment to customer needs will be paramount, as you prioritize their concerns and anticipate future requirements. You will establish successful collaborations, taking responsibility for shared objectives and placing team results above personal interests.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A technical degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field, ideally with a strong familiarity with the automotive semiconductor market.
  • Over six years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, business development, or field application engineering.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a technical, international environment.
  • Expertise in microcontrollers and a solid understanding of braking and steering trends.
  • A proactive attitude, energy, and a passion for delivering results while working in an international team.
  • The capability to comprehend technically complex contexts and present them effectively at the management level.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in German being an advantage, along with strong presentation skills to facilitate alignment across internal and external contacts.
