Experienced Hardware Developer in Life Science Robotics Startup

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Developer to join our team at Goodbot, a cutting-edge robotics startup in the life science industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new hardware features that align with product requirements and user needs.
- Collaborate with the software team to integrate hardware and software seamlessly, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of hardware components to ensure high-quality products.
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance product capabilities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Develop detailed documentation and guidelines for hardware development processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior hardware engineers to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hardware development, particularly in robotics or automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software and hardware design tools, with a strong understanding of electronics, microcontrollers, and sensor integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards for biomedical devices is preferred.
- Understanding of embedded systems and firmware development is beneficial.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management tools is desirable.
