Job Title: Dispatcher Intermodal Seafreight

At Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatcher Intermodal Seafreight to join our team. As a key member of our sea freight department, you will play a crucial role in providing customized logistics solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the disposition of our own vehicles in the HIM area
  • Place orders with vendors (truck, rail, barge) to ensure timely and efficient transportation
  • Offer solutions to problems that arise for our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Negotiate prices with various vendors to award orders
  • Assess market situations and adapt actions accordingly to ensure optimal logistics solutions
Requirements:
  • Completed commercial training, preferably in forwarding/logistics
  • Experience in container scheduling, ideally in the rail sector
  • Knowledge of various modes of transport and their applications
  • Strong industry connections and market knowledge
  • Good geographical knowledge of Germany and Europe
  • Ability to work in a team, structured, and flexible
  • Fluent German and good English skills
