Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:

As a Logistics Coordinator at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sea freight department. Your primary responsibility will be to provide customized logistics solutions for our customers, leveraging our extensive experience, global network, and partnerships with leading shipping companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disposing of our own vehicles in the Hamburg area
  • Placing orders with vendors (truck, rail, barge)
  • Offering solutions to problems that arise for our customers
  • Negotiating prices with various vendors to award orders
  • Assessing market situations and adapting actions accordingly

Requirements:
  • Completed commercial training, preferably in forwarding/logistics
  • Experience in container scheduling, ideally in the rail sector
  • Knowledge of various modes of transport and their applications
  • Strong industry connections and market knowledge
  • Good geographical knowledge of Germany and Europe
  • Ability to work in a team, be structured, and flexible
  • Fluent German and good English skills
