About the role

As an IT Solution Architect Expert, you will work with our team to define solution architecture and ensure implementation of ITOM Event Management solutions on ServiceNow.

You will collaborate with business owners, product managers, and in-house experts in an agile setting.

In your daily work, you will design technical and architecture concepts, contribute to implementation, and operations of SAP's Service Management applications and landscape.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving solution architecture for ITOM Event Management
  • Collaborating with sprint teams to ensure architectural design is transferred in working products
  • Responsible for architectural design, development, and refactoring across multiple agile teams
  • Ensuring proficiency with ITOM/ITSM business processes and transferring business demands to reliable and simple solutions
  • Driving continuous improvements with focus on quality, stability, usability, and maintainability
  • Applying DevOps mindset to take operational responsibility for your solutions
  • Establishing a trusted partnership with our internal business and technical counterparts and enabling a 'ONE TEAM' spirit from delivery to operation
  • Acting as a thought leader for other team members

Requirements

  • Academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology, Software engineering, business informatics, or related fields
  • 6+ years of professional working experience in architecture or development (with focus on ServiceNow ITOM)
  • Experience in ServiceNow Event Management, including integrating various monitoring systems and configuring correlation rules
  • Deep IT/Cloud DevOps knowledge and ability to designing large-scale IT systems
  • Experience in agile application delivery processes, procedures, and agile implementation methods (e.g. SAFe)
  • Leadership and team player skills, with excellent coordination skills, passion for execution, motivation, and self-management
  • Strategic thinking, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills
