The Digital Empowerment division of EDT operates directly under the Digital Board Resort, focusing on engaging and empowering all employees in their unique digital upskilling and reskilling journeys. We achieve this by offering learning opportunities in essential digital technologies (e.g., Data, AI, Process Automation, Cloud, Cyber Security), workplace tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile), and delivering an exceptional learning experience for E.ON's workforce.

As part of the Learning Ecosystem Management (LEM), we contribute to realizing E.ON's strategic objectives by constructing a comprehensive learning ecosystem (e.g., through platforms like our Learning Experience Platform, digital empowerment communities, and external learning resources), providing diverse and engaging learning experiences for our employees. A primary focus is to establish our Learning Experience Platform (LXP) 'MyGenius' as an intuitive and user-friendly hub for learning at E.ON.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Product Owner to define the technical roadmap for the LXP and execute against this roadmap to ensure a seamless user experience across various underlying platforms.
  • Lead the rollout of new features, updates, and enhancements.
  • Continuously assess and refine the product development process, integrating feedback and lessons learned into subsequent iterations.
  • Manage the product budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Coordinate the integration of third-party platforms into the LXP.
  • Ensure a high-quality user management process.
  • Work collaboratively with E.ON colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Continuously enhance governance, knowledge management, and processes to establish a robust operational phase for the LXP.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges that may affect the successful delivery and operation of the platform.

Candidate Profile

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer/Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in technical product ownership, learning and development, talent management, or a related field, ideally in an international context.
  • Proven track record in managing infrastructure projects, preferably overseeing the LXP platform of EdCast/Cornerstone.
  • Experience working in a BizDevOps environment and proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • In-depth understanding of the digital learning landscape, including technologies, platforms, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with accessing data via APIs.
  • Experience with platform integrations is advantageous (experience with MuleSoft is a plus).
  • Strong analytical capabilities along with a solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
  • A commitment to completing tasks thoroughly, reliably, and with a high level of personal accountability, demonstrating both teamwork and independent delivery of commitments.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal; German language skills are a plus.
