Transforming the Role of Process Measurement Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Electrical Commissioning team within the Business Unit focused on Machining and System Technology.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Implement process measurement technology for electrical parameters (such as voltage, insulation, inductance, magnetism) and mechanical parameters (including diameter, position, depth, shape, tightness) in our assembly and machining facilities, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Calibrate sensors, verify electrical connections, install software on measurement devices, establish software links to machine controls, configure parameters for measurement programs and devices, validate measurement outcomes, and perform Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
  • Investigate measurement technology issues in collaboration with relevant departments (e.g., mechanical design, electrical design, commissioning) to develop effective solutions.
  • Provide support for on-site installations addressing measurement-related challenges via phone, internet, or in-person visits.
Required Qualifications
  • Completed training in the electrical discipline.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens TIA or Beckhoff TwinCat) with experience in automation systems.
  • Motivated to independently acquire new technologies and processes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Strong interdisciplinary thinking and collaborative skills.
