Senior Quality Engineer for Automotive

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at OSB AG. As a Quality Engineer for Series Support, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of defects using the 8D method and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide dedicated support to key customers, including internal departments, Tier 1 suppliers, and OEMs, and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies for customer support, including analysis and planning, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of corrective and preventive actions, including leading teams and implementing process improvements.
  • Be responsible for technical clarification of customer applications on-site.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical training.
  • Have relevant experience in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of electronic systems and control units.
  • Have excellent product and application knowledge in the field of electronic control units.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a high level of proficiency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
