The role is focused on enhancing the training and educational initiatives for personnel within designated company facilities and programs across a specific geographic region. This position is responsible for delivering structured, competency-based training and development programs, which include orientation for new hires, training for preceptors, site-specific in-services, and clinical, quality, and customer service training aimed at fostering exceptional patient care and meeting organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Aligns training efforts with the strategic goals of the region, group, and corporate business objectives. Complies with nursing practice standards, company policies, procedures, and all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements. Directs all educational programs towards cultivating a culture of patient safety, achieving clinical quality targets, and enhancing patient outcomes, adhering to company and industry standards. Cultivates the necessary skills and knowledge to instruct staff on all chronic kidney disease treatment protocols. Fosters a culture of continuous learning through professional development programs, coaching, and the use of available technologies. Collaborates with key stakeholders at all levels to schedule, deliver, and implement educational programs, technologies, and processes for both new and existing staff. Employs suitable educational methods and generational learning strategies to effectively deliver, support, and assess training. Assists in the execution of action plans until resolution, as appropriate. Utilizes facilitation techniques and a variety of resources to create engaging and immersive learning experiences. Maintains open, effective, and timely communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including management, facility teams, government entities, physicians, and contracted personnel. Exhibits leadership qualities, strong communication skills, customer service orientation, commitment to continuous quality improvement, relationship building, critical thinking, team development, employee motivation, performance management, and decision-making capabilities. Supports metrics and KPI initiatives with timely and accurate data documentation, reporting, and ongoing quality enhancement processes. The role necessitates frequent, prolonged periods of standing, and the employee must be capable of bending and lifting equipment weighing up to 200 lbs. with assistance, as well as lifting chemical and water solutions weighing up to 30 lbs. The employee may also be required to fulfill essential functions in other locations, which may involve overnight stays, under similar physical demands and working conditions. Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing. Advanced degree (BSN or MSN) preferred. Current RN state licensure in primary state of residence. Must obtain and maintain RN state licensure in assigned states as directed. Must fulfill practice requirements in the state of employment. Minimum of 1 year of dialysis experience as a Registered Nurse. CDN or CNN certification preferred, or must obtain within 18 months of employment.
