Overview
As a Strategic Account Technology Advisor in the Chemical Sector, you will deliver technology insights to clients and facilitate collaboration between clients and Microsoft resources to cultivate new opportunities, drive demand generation, and support digital transformation initiatives. You will serve as the primary Technology Mentor for the customer, establishing enduring relationships with key decision-makers at the executive level.
Your role will involve engaging in discussions with clients to articulate the strategic advantages of Microsoft solutions, acting as a trusted technology consultant both internally and externally. You will gather insights about client operations and leverage existing architectural frameworks to fulfill Microsoft's commitments to clients. By utilizing executive sponsorship and global resources, you will lead the development of comprehensive strategies.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, chemical engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in technical consulting or business consulting.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders in governmental departments.
- Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience in technical consulting, enterprise architecture, and the chemical or process industry. Demonstrated expertise in digital transformation and utilizing technology to enhance business outcomes.

Customer and Industry Insights
- Synthesize various business and industry insights to forecast and develop recommendations for account management.
- Apply expertise in customer businesses and technology platforms to create aligned digital technology strategies.
Trusted Advisor
- Provide coaching to internal teams on customer technology profiles and strategies.
- Advise stakeholders on the importance of security integration within their technology landscape.
Technology Strategy Formulation
- Analyze customer situations and advise internal teams on gaps that Microsoft solutions can address.
- Contribute to the development of multi-horizon technological and business roadmaps for strategic accounts.
Technology Sales: Demand Generation and Orchestration
- Identify customer challenges and create opportunities for new solutions.
- Lead Account Strategy Envisioning sessions with the extended account team and partners.
Differentiated Value Proposition
- Act as a Technology Mentor, supporting the development of relationships with senior leaders.
- Facilitate discussions that highlight the strategic alignment between Microsoft technologies and customer objectives.
Mapping and Account Planning
- Assist technical specialists in crafting messages to promote Microsoft offerings.
- Drive account planning and review processes to align with consumption goals.
