Senior Payroll

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team at Picnic. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll and benefits processes.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Management: Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of the monthly payroll cycle for Shoppers, Runners, and Central Teams.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, including health & employee insurances, sick-leaves, pension plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental regulations, including but not limited to tax laws, labor laws, and benefits regulations.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage numerous internal and external stakeholders in the payment process.
- Process Improvement: Continuously develop and improve our payment process, including participation in tech initiatives to develop a scalable IT-landscape.
- Education: Completed bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or similar field. Preferably specialist Payroll certificates.
- Experience: 1-6 years of working experience in the fields of payroll, payments, HR or finance.
- Skills: Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, initial experience with an HCM system, preferably Workday, is advantageous.
- Language: Excellent knowledge of German and English.
